Imperfectly striving for perfection

 

Where we come from:

With a passion for the historic roots of their humble abode, an adventurous spirit, and a love of fried food, this blog was born. Jaimie and Madeline met while living in the same dorm at the University of Texas and credit their friendship to a redheaded Scottish girl who introduced them. They bonded over many shared meals at the all-you-can-eat dormitory cafeteria and their shared love of dry humor and mac and cheese. They explored the city of Austin, eating and drinking their way through the city. After four short years, they made the move to Houston and live together in the historic Heights District.
